Why should I get a mock interview?

You should get a mock interview before your phone or onsite interview because generic interview prep is no longer good enough. Every company is different — in terms of what they value from their data science (and other roles) interviews. For example, Amazon places more weightage on leadership principles while Meta places more weightage on A/B Testing and Product Sense. Even in terms of technical coding rounds, every tech company is starkly different in terms of what signals they want from future employees. To get the finer nuances, you need help from an actual data science professional from that company. Browsing through glassdoor, and getting generic advice from recruiters isn’t going to cut it anymore.

We are a team of experienced data science professionals who have worked for leading tech companies including Google, Amazon, Apple, etc over the years and we can leverage our network to find you an interviewer qualified for your role and company.

How much do I have to pay per interview?

The rates are entirely set by your interviewers. Usually around 100 USD. After you contact us with your preferences, we will contact you back with a few options from our network. For payment, we support paypal and stripe.

How will the interview be conducted?

The interview will be conducted on your choice of VC platform. You and the interviewer both have an option to be anonymous and you can just use audio. For coding interviews, we’ll use coderpad to go through the interview.

What if I don’t like the interview?

If you don’t like the interview, you don’t need to pay. Zero questions asked.

How can I be sure that the interviewer is credentialed?

The interviewers go through a vetting process and currently most of the interviewers are from our immediate network. In any case, if you don’t like the interview, you can choose not to pay.
